The Aidacare FL250 Floorline Bed is now ‘Acute Ready’ with the Acute Conversion kit. Converted for Hospital/Acute use with key elements such as removable bed ends, moulded plastic components for improved infection control and full CPR functionality.

Safety First

• Low Height: With it’s impressive low height of 110mm, injury to the resident can be significantly reduced or avoided in the event of a fall from bed, therefore reducing the need for side-rails.
• Attendant Control Panel: Allows caregivers functional control and the ability to lock out certain bed functions from being operated via the handset.
• Underbed Clearance: Market leading 110mm low height whilst maintaining full ground clearance.
• ExitSafe: By pushing the ExitSafe button the FL250 moves to a flat and ergonomic position at the optimum height for resident ingress / exit.
• BrakeFirst: Brakes automatically lock when bed reaches it’s lowest height. Brakes are located within the footprint of the bed, minimising any trip hazard for the caregiver and resident alike. Brakes are easily accessible at all heights.
• SmartDescent: Bed lowering speed is reduced once the bed reaches 300mm maximising carer potential to remove obstacles as the bed lowers to the floor.
• Underbed Lighting: Creates a gentle halo around the bed to reduce falls risk and improve carer safety.

Clinical Considerations

• Sleeping Low is Clinically Proven: International clinical studies have shown the benefits of sleeping low and eliminating side rails to resident safety, welfare and comfort, in particular by lowering fall rates and fall injury severity.
• Auto-Regression: AutoRegression helps to reduce sacral pressure, shear forces and abdominal compression during bed profiling.
• CPR Position: The low height and flat surface of the ExitSafe position also facilitates the administration of CPR in the event of an emergency.
• One Touch Chair Positioning: Improves social interaction, assists respiratory and cardio pulmonary function and creates a comfortable position for sitting, dining and transfers.
• Integrated Bed Extension: 100-200mm length extension is easily operated and ensures a large range of user heights will fit comfortably without compromise.
• Trendelenburg (and Reverse): Augments patient positioning, comfort and assists with bed mobility*.
